Kellie received her Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from the University of Mary in 2019. Kellie’s previous experience includes fieldwork in outpatient pediatrics and skilled nursing facility settings. Kellie has a passion for working with kids and was excited to join the Red Door team! Kellie’s professional interests include sensory integration, self-care, and the SOS approach to feeding. Kellie is a member of the American Occupational Therapy Association and the North Dakota Occupational Therapy Association.
Kellie is originally from Bismarck, ND. She enjoys traveling, coffee, and spending time with friends and family.

Seriann Birchem, DPT

Seriann attended the University of Mary where she received her Bachelor’s degree in Athletic Training in 2017 and her Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy in 2020. Seriann’s previous experience includes fieldwork in the rural outpatient setting, men’s and women’s health, NICU/acute care childrens, and children’s outpatient and bowel/bladder program. Seriann’s professional interests include working on biking skills and pediatric orthopedics. Seriann enjoys working with children because each one is a unique puzzle piece and brings their own attitude and skills to each session.
Seriann is originally from Wahpeton, ND. She loves to travel, spend time with her family at the lake, and to try new things.

Karlie attended the University of North Dakota where she received her Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy in 2020. Karlie’s previous experience includes fieldwork in acute patient rehab, pediatric outpatient rehab, and the school system. Karlie’s professional interests include working on sensory integration and self-care skills. Karlie has a passion for working with children and is super excited to be on the Red Door Therapy team!
Karlie is originally from Jamestown, ND. She loves to spend time with her family and animals back home. She also loves to travel and enjoys doing photography as her hobby.

Amanda Weisz, PTA (Licensed Assistant)

Amanda received her Associates of Applied Science as a Physical Therapy Assistant from Lakes Area Technical Institute in 2016. Amanda’s professional interests include working with children to develop gross motor skills that address delays and neurological disorders. She loves the joy that comes from working with kids and making therapy a fun experience for everyone.

Amanda is originally from Wahpeton, ND. She loves to travel, read, and spend time with friends and family.

Alexis Hanson, MS, SLP

Lexi received her Master’s of Science in Speech-Language Pathology from Minot State University in 2019. She obtained her Bachelors of Science in Communication Disorders from Saint Cloud State University in 2017. Lexi’s professional interests include language development, speech-sound disorders, and anything related to Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC). She loves working with kids and enjoys guiding and supporting kids with communication needs.

Lexi is originally from West Fargo, ND and currently lives in Minot. She enjoys spending her free time at the gym, at the lake, or shopping on Amazon.

Geena Schmidt, MS OTR/L

Geena received her Master’s of Science in Occupational Therapy from the University of Mary in 2017. She completed her Level II fieldworks at Red Door and in a regional acute care hospital.
Her professional interests include self care, self-regulation, and sensory integration. Geena is a member of the American Occupational Therapy Association. She serves as a board member for the North Dakota Occupational Therapy Association.

Geena is originally from Stanley, North Dakota, but currently resides in Minot with her husband and two dogs. She enjoys outdoor leisure activities, traveling, and hosting dinner for family and friends.

Jorden Beckman, MS, CCC-SLP

Jorden received her master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from Minot State University in 2016. She joined the Red Door team in 2016 and loves working with kids! Jorden’s professional interests include speech-sound disorders, language development, and childhood apraxia of speech. She is trained in the Beckman Oral Motor Protocol and is a member of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association.

Jorden is from Mohall, North Dakota, but currently resides in Minot with her husband, dog, and baby girl. She enjoys golfing, reading, traveling, being at the lake, and spending time with family and friends.

Tia-Lee Whitted

Tia-Lee Whitted

Tia-Lee received an associate’s degree from Rasmussen College in 2009. She has experience working in child care and operated an in-home daycare for 3 years. Tia has experience with insurance companies, web-based billing systems, coding and scheduling. Her professional interests include utilization of spreadsheets, efficient scheduling, and excellent consumer relations. Tia maintains current compliance standards with insurance companies throughout the midwest.

She has one boy and one girl, both keep her busy and on her toes! Tia loves cats and spending time with friends and family.

Brianna Mittelsteadt, M/OTR/L

Brianna received her Master’s of Science in Occupational Therapy from the University of Mary in 2015. She has experience working with pediatrics in several settings, including outpatient and school system. Brianna also has experience with the adult population as an acute care therapist . She joined the Red Door team in 2016 and is very passionate about working with children! Brianna’s professional interests include autism spectrum disorders, sensory processing, self-regulation, and feeding.

Brianna is from Mandan where she lives with her husband and children. She enjoys spending time with her family and friends, going to the lake, boating, and other outdoor activities.

Heather Arnt, M.S., CCC-SLP

Heather Arnt, M.S., CCC-SLP

Heather received her master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology from the University of North Dakota in 2001.  Her previous work experience includes work in the school system in Arizona, as well as outpatient settings.  In 2006, Heather opened Red Door Pediatric Therapy in Bismarck with Kelli Ellenbaum. In 2014, Heather and Kelli expanded Red Door Pediatric Therapy to Minot.  Heather’s professional interests include childhood apraxia of speech, language development and articulation/phonology (especially those darn /r/’s!), as well as insurance rights and reimbursement as they relate to pediatric outpatient services.  Heather serves on the Advisory Board for the development of undergraduate/graduate degrees in Speech Language Pathology at the University of Mary.

Heather is the mom to one bright and busy daughter.  She enjoys great times with great friends and gobs of books.
