Katie Vettel

Katie Vettel

Katie has worked in the health insurance industry for 14 years as a claims processor. She brings an understanding of the other side of the medical billing process. Katie is persistent and thrives on challenges. She is always ready to learn something new or find ways to make processes more efficient.

Katie was born in Oklahoma, but was raised on a small hobby farm outside of Carrington, ND. She lived in Bismarck for 15 years, and currently has been residing in Mandan for the last 3 1/2 years with her husband and two children. In her spare time, Katie spends time keeping her kids very busy running from one activity to the next. She is a parent leader in the special needs community, especially in the apraxia world as her son has an apraxia diagnosis. He was also recently diagnosed with autism and ADHD so she is finding her place in that realm of supporting her son as well as other families in the community. She loves to be involved with events and activities for our children with disabilities such as the ND Walk for Childhood Apraxia of Speech, which she chairs. She is a member of the iCan Bike camp planning committee and participates in events hosted by the Bisman Autism Families. Katie loves to cook, bake, and create fun cakes and treats.
