Crystal attended the University of North Dakota where she received her Bachelor’s degree in Communication Sciences & Disorders. She also received her Master of Science degree in Speech-Language Pathology in 2018. During her professional career, she has had the opportunity to work with children with Developmental Delays, Feeding/Oral Motor Disorders, Down Syndrome, Autism Spectrum Disorder, Apraxia, Fluency Disorders, and Articulation/Phonological Disorders. She is trained in the Beckman Oral Motor Protocol and is a member of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association. She strives to foster a positive environment in her therapy sessions and encourage a sense of confidence in the children she works with as they work to reach their full potential.
Crystal is originally from Devils Lake, ND. She loves to travel, read, and relax at home with her corgi and loved ones.
Prior to joining Red Door Pediatric Therapy, Dena was employed as a paraprofessional with Minot Public Schools for 15 years. She worked with young adults with disabilities. What she loved most about her job was the interaction with students and seeing them reach their potential.
Dena is married to her husband Bob. They have 2 grown boys. One is a Sgt in the United States Marine Corps and the other is graduating from college with a degree in Criminal Justice. Dena enjoys gardening, spending time with family, mountain biking, and cuddling with her 2 dogs.
Laura received her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from the University of Mary in 2014. Her previous experience includes work in acute care and pediatrics within the hospital setting. Her professional interests include working with children with neurological disorders, torticollis and plagiocephaly, toe walking/in-toeing, and children with gross motor delays. Laura is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association.
Laura is originally from Elk River, Minnesota but currently resides in Grand Forks with her husband. She enjoys spending time with family and friends, running, hiking, boating, or any other outdoor activity.
Jess received her Master’s of Science degree in Occupational Therapy from the University of Mary in 2005. At the beginning of her career, Jess worked as a private practicing therapist in Montana. Jess’s previous experience includes work in the school systems, outpatient therapy, acute rehab and long term care. Her love is pediatrics! She joined the Red Door team in 2013. Jess’s professional interests include the autism spectrum, sensory integration, self-regulation, and strategies for dealing with disruptive behavior. Jess is certified in the SOS approach to feeding, specializing in helping families with those picky eaters and problem feeders. Jess is a member of the American Occupational Therapy Association and North Dakota Occupational Therapy Association.
Jess and her Husband live outside of Wilton and are the parents of one busy boy with lots of personality. She enjoys gardening, boating and long weekends at the lake.
